Interdiction in London

By now you know that the British stopped a car bomb full of nails from blowing up a huge nightclub celebrating "Sugar 'n' Spice," a ladies night "run by women, for women." That's the jihadis for you -- blowing up young women for having the temerity to dance.

Anyway, Expat Yank lives in London and has lots of coverage, as does Pajamas Media.

There's speculation that this (relatively sloppy, it seems) attempt may be an attempt to manipulate the new prime minister.

Interestingly, an article in the latest Eye Spy magazine discussed incidents of terrorist 'chatter' discussing the timing of an attack. The (para)phrase was 'when they change the head of the company,' and was interpreted to mean when Blair steps down.

I would say that speculation is spot on. If I were the terrorists, I'd have organized a little "test" for him very early on.
