The nipple ring hazard

This strikes me as something less than the TSA's finest hour:

A Texas woman who said she was forced to remove a nipple ring with pliers in order to board an airplane called Thursday for an apology by federal security agents and a civil rights investigation.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that no matter how crafty those jihadis get, they are unlikely to do a lot of damage with weapons disguised as nipple rings.

But who knows? I, along with Captain Ed, could be wrong.

To those of you who are unconcerned about nipple violence, I have one word:

Fembots

Good nightshirt. I agree that this wasn't necessary but haven't these people ever seen the ones that don't require you to get your body perforated?

Sheesh.

Did they think the thing was like the pin on a grenade or something?

What's next? If they detect someone wearing a ring on their clitoris will they have them remove that too?

And from the phot I can see she fit the profile for a terror suspect. /snark

What, no photos TH? How are we right-wing neocons supposed to get thru this kind of story without photos?

Or at least a caption contest. I vote for "Saddam's Baby Milk Factory Found To Be Secret WMD Site" :)

Gloria Allred just seems to have a market niche for these offbeat civil rights stories. She's my hero.

Good thing she had her pliers. Or does the TSA keep them on hand for just these sort of counter terror contingencies?
