"Why McCain is getting hosed in the press"

One of the leading hosers of the McCain campaign explains why it is only natural that McCain should get hosed, and, by the way, it has nothing to do with the political opinions of reporters.

Seperately, I'd like to add that the word "hosed" is not used often enough in the mainstream media.

Ah, yes.

It's time for the perennial "We are unbiased. It's just that the Republican candidate is an incompetent buffoon/evil genius/out-of-touch rich guy/classless peon/racist/genocidal Nazi. And it's just good honest reporting to point that out." articles.

Wonderful.

The writer admits his bias. He just adds that he thinks he's also being awfully professional about the whole damn thing, though, so he should be respected for his writing and editorial responsibility despite his bias.

this isn't news- the MSM is wildly biased. They know it, and so do we. McCain could however dial up the partisanship and get people to notice him. It's not the MSM's fault that he's been ever so respectful to his opponent and polite about his losing campaign.

clint, I have to second your point of view here. I listened to this gleeful PR guy tell us how the 'infra-dig' calls are so full of back-biting. But the man's glee still has far more to do with his point of view.

I liked Steyn's comment that they are biased because they wants jobs in the
Obama administration.
That doesn't cover it, however, because the MSM jumped on the bandwagon long ago, throwing Hillary under that bandwagon.
An Obama reich will bail out the media (all loyal unions groups will get their money back as pimps do). But, just for the personal satisfaction, I like to see 5 oor 10 million of us cancel newspaper subscriptions as a simple protest of the these ultra-leftist, anti-American turds.

"Hosed" is a word I did not use a great deal until I participated in Bicker at PU (at The Cheese, someone would actually bring in a short lenght of 2 inch rubber hose to the bid sessions), but you are right, TH, it is a great term.

I found that article wholly unconvincing.

This doesn't explain the lack of professional curiosity with the holes in Obama's life.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at Tue Oct 28, 06:33:00 PM:

Curiosity in Obama's life?

He is the immaculate candidate, coming fully formed from the suburbs of Chicago, with not a hint of problems or history to his name.
Besides, he covered all that in "Dreams of my Father" and "The Audacity of Hope". Where were you all???

Sarcasm aside, I think we will all find out all too much, much more than we ever wished, about Mr. Obama in the next four years.

"Hoser" is the conjugated pronoun of the verb "hosed", as in "the person who wrote this article at Politico is a real hoser".

Take off, eh?

I think the proper form of "hose" to use with Our Lord Obama would be "Hosannah".

And the proper term to use with Politico journalists is "Presstitutes".
