Pray for Bowie Bergdahl

The Taliban have coerced their American prisoner of war into degrading himself:

The U.S. military denounced on Sunday the release of a video showing a soldier captured in Afghanistan, describing the images as Taliban propaganda that violated international law.

The video shows Private Bowe Bergdahl in traditional Afghan dress, being prompted in English by his captors to call for U.S. forces to be withdrawn from Afghanistan.

I will be curious to see if any lefty blogger argues that the Taliban would not have done this were it not for American "war crimes." If you see anything along those lines, dump the link in the comments. And in the meantime, pray for Bowie Bergdahl, who is in a very tight spot right now.

Thanks, I'll head over to her site to check that out.

As if Congress cares what we think. Public "servants" indeed!!!

I pray that this poor young man, surely at the end of a gun-barrel when he made those statements, is rescued. Surely, Obama is not prepared to do anything about another murder video.

I saw a blogger on Big Hollywood who compared our current "chief executive" to a Macy's Cosmetic Girl, prancing around the world spritzing peace and good will in the faces of strangers who would rather be left alone.

How apt!

Blah, blah, blah. What about the millions of irqui's who didn't want us in their country. A war we should have never had in the first place. our current chief executive a "Macy's cosmetics girl"? Please, Bush was no more than a badly built puppet for the war lust of the Cheney's and Rummy's of the world. Please. Get real.

Rather than looking at history thru your tin foil hat...let's just see what the NEXT four years of incompetence brings to our families.

Prediction: You will have forgotten all about "Bush and Cheney" by the time Obama is done with you.

Guerrilla Theaterâ„¢ alert! Slap that on a foam core sign and take to the streets in safe protest!

My prayers are out there for Bergdahl's safe return home.

There is something "fishy" about this guy and his abduction, http://michellemalkin.com/ nails my exact concerns

Time for TH and the rightwingers here to lay down their predictions and we'll see how well they understand the other side. Tell us what is the most prominent level of lefty blogger that will make such a statement, measured by visits per day or other rankings.

My prediction: no American lefty blogger getting over 100 visits per day will say it. I'm talking bloggers, not commenters - no nutpicking allowed.

TH: I believe you are going to find out that this 'abduction' is not exactly as being reported.

By Blogger Dawnfire82, at Mon Jul 20, 03:34:00 PM:

Concur. Initial reports of the incident were that he walked off a base, alone, in a hostile area, without telling anyone, voluntarily. That sounds like a defection.

By Blogger Dawnfire82, at Mon Jul 20, 04:00:00 PM:

Corroborating information.

He's in a very bad spot, and I pray he's returned quickly.
