Diabolical advertising

Am I the only one who just noticed the ads for the Reebok "EasyTone" shoe, which allegedly produce "better legs and a better butt with every step"? These are running on my health club TV right now.

I did not know that Reebok had written off the feminist market.

Birkenstock has the feminist market cornered.

I think that butt has more to do with good genetic fortune than Reebok shoes.

Well, I certainly appreciate the ad campaign.

You were expecting some bow in the direction of fitness and/or health?

Perhaps Reebok thinks that the "feminist market" no longer exists, if it ever did, given the reaction prominent feminists had to Sarah Palin. All they did was concentrate on her looks, perhaps persuading Reebok they could safely do the same in this campaign.

These commercials were obviously written by men who flunked out of their women's studies classes.

I do exercise regularly, and have lots A LOT of weight since the first of the year. These commercials don't do anything for me, and doesn't improve my opinion of Reebok...

These ads are sexist and set us back 50 years!
Do something about it!
