You and yer boondoggles. My heat is out this morning in Princeton.

Dinner at l'Auberge de Sedona along the creek...ahhh, life doesn't get much better!

I know exactly where you were standing to take that shot -- McCain announced his run for president right behind there.

If you have time, go about 12 miles north out of Sedona up the river canyon and hike the West Fork trail. It's great.

Beautiful photo.

I've only been to the Sedona area a few times, though I set aside a day each time to hike around the area.

Love the desert but I don't think I would care to live there in the summer.

Because of Sedona's elevation--4,500 ft--it does not suffer the summer heat for which Phoenix is known. In fact, it's the summer getaway for many Phoenix residents. Beautiful place.

If you have time, have lunch at Enchantment Resort, which abuts Boynton Canyon. Better yet, hike Boynton Canyon and then stop by Enchantment for refreshments! Absolute heaven.
